I think it is already too late for hope for AOL. ;p
Rebrands are always very interesting, but in this case . I just cannot see it paying off by a large margin. Very few people look towards AOL, or I guess 'Aol.' now for ISP, and I am always surprised when I see someone using it as news/search source, or whenever I hear that token "you've got mail". I think the biggest strength of AOL at this point is AIM (which the article doesn't mention at all). I wonder if that is going to change as well?
