Designer Carla Frank to speak at Portfolio Center 10am Thursday

Carla Frank has created a string of resonating big-brand successes such as 'O' Magazine, Glamour Italia, and Cooking Light. Andy Cowles writing for the Society of Publication Designers sums it up,"The Genius That Is Carla Frank."
She is one of the most globally recognized, award winning Creative Directors and Brand Strategists within the publication industry. Carla has a truly unique ability to create and convey the authentic personality of a brand. She was the launch creative director, for 'O' magazine and remained on the title for ten years, during which she produced some of the greatest and most moving editorial design ever seen. After she left Oprah, Carla spent time on Cooking Light, but not so long ago she upped and went off to Italy, becoming the Creative Director of Italian Glamour. And what a stunning job she made of it.
